Updated tryout information for Seal Beach Volleyball Club 2009-2010 season

• Our club will be about the same size as last year:
  
  • 3 teams for girls age 12 & under
  • 4 teams for girls age 13/14 & under
  • 2 teams for girls age 15 & under
  • 2 teams for girls age 16 & under
  • 1 team for girls age 17 & under
• Players in each age division are grouped together by skill level.  When we have multiple teams in an age division, we are able to offer separate teams at different skill levels (elite, advanced, intermediate, or developmental).
• Every player in our club will get significant playing time in the tournaments to gain the skills necessary to move up to the next skill level.
• All teams are capped at only 10 players per team to allow optimal playing time

Tryouts for 12’s, 13’s, and 14’s teams (players born after 8-31-95):

Tryouts began in October.   We still have a few scattered roster openings on our 7 teams in these age groups.  To discuss the openings and schedule a make-up tryout, call our club director Bob OBrien at 562-430-6671.

Tryouts for 15’s, 16’s, and 17’s teams:

Tryouts began in November.   Our rosters are currently full on our 5 teams in these age groups, but we will be accepting a few select players who will practice with the team most suited to their skill level while waiting for a roster position to open up.  To discuss the roster opportunities or to schedule a separate make-up tryout, call our club director Bob OBrien at 562-430-6671.

Tryouts for Boys:

SBVBC will not have teams for boys in the 2009/2010 season.  We are planning to resume our program for boys in the 2011 season.
